Summer News from the Lady Minimalists
Three of our members will be showing work in exhibitions this summer. Currently at the Dahl Arts Center in Rapid City, South Dakota, Signe Stuart has installed a large work made of Tyvek, light and shadow. The installation, INSILENCE2, will be up until August 30th. Signe calls it "an interactive space for introspection." Read all about it and see some wonderful images on the Tyvek blog: http://tyvek-blog.materialconcepts.com/2013/05/huge-tyvek-art-installation-by-signe-stuart.html
Shaun Gilmore and Janice Wall's show MOSTLYCLEARANDPARTLYCLOUDY: climate as metaphor will open at the Mesa Public Library Gallery in Los Alamos, New Mexico on July 3rd. It will feature individual work by each artist. The reception is on July 12th from 4:30 - 6:30 and there will be a gallery talk by the artists on July 26th at 3:00. You are cordially invited to both events!
